Biography

Poppy graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2010 followed by completion of a rotating small animal internship and a Senior Clinical Training Scholarship (residency) in Small Animal Surgery at the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals. Poppy moved to the University of Pennsylvania, Matthew J Ryan Hopsital in the USA to take up a posiiton in Lecturer in Small Animal Surgery. She then spent a year in a private referral practice in the UK before moving back to the RVC to become a Lecturer in Small Animal Surgery and to undertake a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery. Poppy is the Director of the Small Animal Surgery Residency Programme and the deputy module leader of the RVC CertAVP certificate in Small Animal Surgery.
